Brentford gear up for Nottingham Forest clash

Brentford's build-up to Saturday's Premier League meeting with Nottingham Forest is in full swing, with team news, insight and matchday content all pointing towards the same fixture at the Gtech Community Stadium.

It's the kind of selection poser Brentford fans will want resolved before kick-off, with Janelt's return to availability giving the manager another option in midfield.

Elsewhere, BrentfordFC.com has been offering a look from the other side of the pitch, bringing insight from Forest correspondent Sarah Clapson to give Bees supporters a sense of what to expect from the visitors (BrentfordFC.com). The official club site has also detailed what fans can find inside the matchday programme for the game, part of the usual build-up package around a home fixture (BrentfordFC.com).

West London Sport's podcast has taken a slightly different angle, with Daniel Storey - a Forest fan as well as a football writer - joining the discussion to debate Delap against Thiago as a point of contrast between the sides (West London Sport). That same preview flags Igor Thiago's struggles in front of goal as a theme to watch, while also tagging Brentford as "draw specialists" this season, a label that will ring true for anyone who has watched the Bees grind out stalemates recently.

Taken together, the coverage gives a well-rounded picture of the build-up: Sports Mole focused on team selection and Janelt's fitness (Sports Mole), BrentfordFC.com offering both an opposition view and the matchday extras (BrentfordFC.com) (BrentfordFC.com), and West London Sport zooming in on the goalscoring question around Thiago and Brentford's reputation for draws (West London Sport). All of it points towards the same occasion - Forest's visit to west London on Saturday afternoon.
