Ouattara Strike Rescues Point for Brentford at Hull

Brentford were made to work for a share of the spoils at the MKM Stadium, coming from behind to draw 1-1 with Hull City thanks to a second-half leveller from Dango Ouattara.

The Evening Standard reports that Hull's winless run was extended to seven matches despite taking the lead, with Ouattara eventually punishing some "inattentive defending" to slot home in the 63rd minute after Igor Thiago had teed him up (Evening Standard).

Sky Sports confirms the same turning point, noting that Oli McBurnie had put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot before Ouattara's second-half intervention cancelled it out and continued Hull's miserable run without a Premier League win (Sky Sports).

BrentfordFC.com keeps things simple with its own account of the afternoon, confirming the 1-1 scoreline and crediting Ouattara with the goal that earned the Bees their point at the MKM Stadium (BrentfordFC.com).

All three sources are in full agreement on the key facts: McBurnie's penalty had Hull in front before Ouattara, set up by Thiago, struck after the hour mark to make it 1-1. There's no disagreement here, just a shared story of Brentford digging in for a draw on the road.

Attention now turns to a midweek trip to the North East, with Brentford due to travel to Sunderland on Wednesday 28 October for a 7.45pm kick-off as they look to build on this point.
